Should I get a bottom feeder for my 5 gallon aquarium?
I just bought a 5 gallon starter kit for my goldfish. He's a telescope eye fantail. I know that I should have a bigger tank for him but I don't have enough money right now. He really enjoys having this bigger tank and I love watching him swim around. I feed him Nutrafin pellet food since he can't find the flake food that well. Occasionally I like to give him tropical flakes for a variety of food and I'm going to give him boiled peas soon. I was looking at getting a bottom feeder to eat the leftover flake food that my goldfish sometimes can't find. Should I since my tank is so small? Is there any type of bottom feeder that will stay at a size small enough to keep in this tank?
Can I keep a pleco in a 10 gallon aquarium?

Cycling 10 gallon aquarium: how long before ammonia spike?
I am cycling my 10 gallon tank with 2 platies and 1 fancy guppy. the temp. is at 78 degrees. It has been setup for a week and i am wondering if the ammonia has already spiked, or when it will because i dont have a test kit.

Can I put several species of fresh water puffers together (40 gallon aquarium)?
I would like to put figure 8 puffers, green spotted puffers, and bee puffers in the same aquarium? The aquarium is 40 gallons and has lots of live plants caves and pieces of wood. Will this work out? Would I be able to keep a pleco or some Otto cats in there to keep it clean? What will I need to feed the puffers? I have been told to feed then crabs,shrimp,and definitely snails. Is this correct? Will I be able to feed them live fish like guppy fry?Thanks for your help,
10 gallon aquarium setup/stocking question?
I recently setup a 10 gallon tropical community aquarium. It has an air pump, heater, 20 gallon filter, and hood with flourescent light. I have pebble beach smooth gravel substrate, a pot, rock structure, 2 fake plants, and 1 live plant. I am currently cycling with 2 platies. After it is cycled, i plan to add 1 dwarf gourami, 1 fancy guppy, and 3 julii corys. This totals 7 fish. Is this ok stocking? also is there anything else i need to get?

Can i house a black ghost knife and a philippine dragon fin in a 120 gallon aquarium for life?
it's a 120 gallon aquarium. 4 feet x 2 feet x 2 feet... can i mix both these fish? i'm planning to get both while they are still very young about 2 3 inches each. will the both fit their entire life in a 120? also will they be peaceful with eachother? what should i feed them while they are still young?

I don't have very much space for the tank dorm room living , but I'd like to keep a fish. Also, a snail would be pretty cool, but I have no idea about how much space they need. Can anyone recommend species of fish snails that could live in such a small tank? Also, I do have an aerator, but do I need it for a 1 gallon?
