Does anyone know if you can use an aquarium pump in the old oil rain lamps?
Just bought one on ebay. The seller said the light bulb worked when tested, but it didn't have any oil in it to test that part.. When I received it, it turns out not to have a pump or motor Saw a blog where someone said they use an aquarium pump with theirs, and it works great. Couldn't find out more, though. This is a big one that hangs from the ceiling. Any advice? They use mineral oil which can be used as a laxative , so it's not combustible. Thanks, though

What do I do about aquarium pump problems?
My electric pump filters keep burning the motors out for some unknown reason and keep me broke buying new ones. Does anybody anywhere know how to make, or where I can buy air pump powered filters housings?I use the stuffing from pollyster pillows for a filter medium, cheap and efficent that works very well in the older air powered filters.Like I said I use polyster probably misspelled pillow stuffing for filter medium, useing thin layers and change medium very often.

Where can i buy salt water aquarium pumps in darwin?

Very noisy aquarium pump?
I have a power filter for my 23 gallon. It's a powerhead 620. I have to unplug that awful power filter when I'm at home. I cant hear myself think It wasn't this loud when I bought it but each time I turned it off to clean it out and then put it back together it got louder. It still pumps water through. I cant clean the impeller because it is inside the powerhead which is VERY TIGHT to take out. I have had this tank for 1 year now. Do I need to replace my powerhead?

Help with floating aquarium pump/filter?
I just bought an aquarium pump and filter kit for my tank, it's a clear plastic cube type thing you put filter carbon and filter floss in. The problem I'm having though is that the whole box keeps floating to the surface of the water and I'm not sure what the problem is...I tried taking almost half of the filter floss out but that seems to have minimal effect. Please help

My aquarium pump doesn't work after I cleaned and re-assembled it. Can someone help?

Do aquarium pumps allow water to flow through them backwards when turned off?
I am planning on putting a water pump at the bottom of an aquarium to fill it with water. Assuming the pump is below the waterline, I am trying to figure out if the pump will allow the water to flow backwards through the pump and into the reservoir after I have turned the pump off. Or is there a one way valve within the pump to prevent that from happening???
